Soft Memory Studio is a slow fashion practice rooted in reverence for what was loved, lost, and longed for. A collaborative effort among ethical entrepreneurs across the conscious fashion field, this “activist atelier” recreates cherished garments from scratch, using American-sourced fibers and bioregional production wherever possible.

This is as much an experiential inquiry into the intricacies of the fashion web, as it is a desire for us to go soft & slow with how we build our wardrobe. Each piece is a quiet act of remembrance, an heirloom of feeling… threaded into a new story, and held with care.

The first piece from the Soft Memory collection is a baby alpaca sweater based on a black cashmere shrug I was gifted and wore on many chilly San Francisco nights. It was loved, and lost to time.
